The boy wakes up. Hanja is still clinging to him. Her fur down there is warm against his hip.
He's really happy that he has her now.
Then he has to think of his sister.
He didn't really have time for her recently.
She was the main reason why he joined this tribe, and now he cares more about his own pleasure.
It doesn't take long until the girl enters the tent.
The boy is glad. So she didn't spend the night with the chief, did she?
The boy isn't happy about that.
Hanja seems a little nervous. The boy notices it.
Does she know something?
The boy notices some red marks on her arms.
It looks as if he dragged her by one arm.
The boy doesn't like the idea that the chief would own his sister.
He couldn't protect her anymore.
The boy looks at Hanja. She is serious.
The boy really doesn't like it.
But she actually seems pretty happy when she comes back after visiting the chief.
And the chief didn't seem to be such a bad person.
Maybe Hanja is right.
The girl hesitates a little.
But when she replies, she sounds confident.
The boy looks at his sister. She stands there, arms crossed over the red marks, waiting for a reply.
They slowly walk to his tent. Hanja follows close behind.
Before they enter, the boy gives his sister a long hug.
He doesn't know if he'll get to hug her again inside.
So this might be the last time.
Inside the tent, the chief sits on his fur chair.
A girl is on his lap, but he pushes her away when they enter.
The chief grins.
The girl steps forward eagerly. The chief grabs her marked arm.
She doesn't flinch.
The boy slowly nods.
This is all a little fast for him.
The boy turns to leave. His sister doesn't follow.
She's already kneeling next to the chief at his feet, looking up at him.
Hanja immediately notices that the boy doesn't feel good about this.
The boy doesn't answer. He just follows her mindlessly.
The last thing he hears from inside the tent is his sister laughing, probably at something the chief said.
She really sounds happy. That's what matters.
The girl wants to belong to the chief.
The boy hesitates, but he is ready to allow it.
